Preseason 2025 has ended....
Imagine the sun-drenched Spanish hills, the air thick with the scent of olive groves, and the only sound is the whir of spinning wheels—my wheels, to be precise, propelled by the dream machine that is my new Alcavi bicycle.
This isn't just any bike; it's a piece of racing history, born from the legendary Aldon Baker's iconic bakers factory and the visionary mind of Ecuadorian BMX powerhouse Alfredo Campo. Finally, after countless conversations, I’ve joined forces with Alfredo, and the partnership is electrifying. To ride a bike forged in such a crucible of talent, a bike that feels like an extension of my own body, is nothing short of transformative. Spain’s brutal climbs, once a daunting challenge compared to Florida’s flatlands, now feel like a playground, each pedal stroke shattering personal records and pushing me closer to peak performance. This Alcavi isn't just a tool; it's the key to unlocking a new level of physical and mental fortitude, a crucial ally in my quest for the upcoming season.
But Spain wasn't just about conquering mountains on the Alcavi. It was a whirlwind of adrenaline-fueled progress on the track too! Imagine the thrill of sliding around the flat track at PARCmotor, the bike responding to my every instinct, each lap a testament to how quickly I was adapting. That initial spark of enjoyment has ignited into a full-blown passion; flat track is becoming my playground.
Then came the 600, a beast of a machine, roaring around the big track. Drills on the front straight, a baptism of fire, yet I felt an immediate connection, my pace falling into place like a well-worn rhythm.
Of course, Spain, in its unpredictable glory, threw a curveball: relentless rain and howling winds. But even the elements couldn't dampen my drive. The Kayo became my weapon against the weather, carving lines around the kart tracks. Karting Mora, nestled in the misty mountains, was a turning point. Despite the chilling conditions, my pace was electric, a surge of confidence that resonated through every fiber of my being. It was here, I believe, that a crucial mental and physical shift occurred, a breakthrough that would define the rest of my trip.
Returning to the familiar battleground of Karting Vendrell, the results were undeniable. Lap times plummeted, consistency became my mantra, even through the intricate cone drills. Confidence soared with each passing session, each lesson etched into my muscle memory. Even with tires worn to their limits, I was consistently within a hair's breadth of my personal best, a testament to the progress I'd made. My winter training camp with Riders Formation has drawn to a close, a chapter filled with triumphs and lessons learned. But this isn't goodbye; it's a "see you soon." I'll be back, sharper and more focused than ever, ready to fine-tune my skills before the battle for the BTC season begins.
And now, the news I've been bursting to share, the culmination of years of hard work and unwavering dreams: I'll be racing the MotoAmerica Talent Cup for Honda North America in 2025! This is more than just a race; it's a dream realized, a childhood fantasy ignited. Ever since I was a wide-eyed kid, mesmerized by Marc Marquez's 2013 brilliance, racing for factory Honda has been my ultimate aspiration. To stand alongside such an iconic team and manufacturer, to represent them on the American stage, is an honor beyond words. I'm overflowing with gratitude for this incredible opportunity to showcase my passion and dedication right here at home. I can not thank Cameron and his dad Mr. Jones for believing in me and opening these doors. Without them this conversation and now reality would of never come true.
The season's kick-off at COTA, alongside MotoGP, is going to be an absolute spectacle. COTA's legendary curves, a track I've only ever dreamed of conquering, are calling my name.
But perhaps the most profound aspect of this journey is the chance to share the MotoAmerica paddock with my big brother and mentor, Sean Dylan Kelly. He's not just family; he's the architect of my riding style, the guiding force behind my progress. To race alongside him, to carry his number once again, is a moment that will resonate deeply within our family. And let's be clear: we're both coming for the championship. The Kelly/Correa brothers are ready to make some serious noise!
Thank you, everyone, for your unwavering support. I promise to make you proud this year. Let's make history!
