Racing Minis and what it means to me
Racing has always been so much fun for me. From riding in parking lots for seat time to actual races. Whether I was racing on 50s and even now racing expert on my NSF250r. Motorcycles have been my passion since I got to ride one for the first time.
When my family started SFLMINIGP, I felt like I needed to be the kid to catch. The one everyone needed to beat in order to "earn" that trophy. How could I not be, my parents were the owners and I couldn't be the slow kid. However, I was also always looking for ways to help other kids or adults so that they could get faster.
It was always instilled in me that I needed to be better than who I was yesterday. Well in order sometimes to be better, you need to make those around you better so they can push you to new limits. My entire career, my parents and I have always made people safer, faster, better so not only myself or my little brother can progress, but the organization could as well.
NJMINIGP always had the fastest riders. But as we continued to grow, so did the talent and all of us together pushed each other. Now we all show up to Nationals and you never know if a kid from NJ or SFL is going to take the WIN.
That is what MINIGP and racing minis means to me. Not only a way for seat time, but a way to help others progress and get better in the sport.
